In the same incident, the crime branch in Indore has arrested two criminals. They were making fake chilli powder and selling them in the market under the brand name Pushpa.
According to the report, the crime branch team had received a tip-off from the informer that fake red chilli powder of floral brand was being made and sold in the market in the Thana Pardeshipura area. On this, the team arrived and from the spot Shyam's father self. Umesh Agarwal (42), a resident of Pardeshipura Indore and Mohit Agarwal, father of Uttam Kumar Agarwal (38), a resident of Kalindi Gold City Indore were arrested.
On searching Shyam's house, 11 sacks of red chillies were found standing there. 880 packets of fake floral brand red chilli powder were received. Each packet was 500 grams. Thus a total of 440 kg of red chilli powder, grinding machine, packing machine, sewing machine and weigh fork were recovered. The value of the recovered goods is about Rs 5 lakh. The criminals said that they have been making fake red chilli powders that look like floral brands for about 6-7 months. For this, the packing foil, which looked like red chilli and floral brands, was printed from outside the state. A case has been registered against both of them at Pardeshipura police station. Both are being questioned.
